Raku-fired in a blazing oil-drum kiln, this large sculptural vase bears the hallmarks of the ancient Japanese technique: a crackled metallic glaze and carbon-blackened unglazed areas. Each firing is unique and dramatic. Height: 40 cm. A true collector's piece. Presented on a custom walnut plinth.
